A Closer Look at the Cover UPDATED

The September-October 2013 issue of Needlepoint Now is starting to be mailed out. The cover features a group of Squiggee Halloween figures, so Gail Hendrix decided to post better photos on her blog to show off her designs and credit the stitchers who provided models for Squiggee and the magazine.

The Halloween Birdhouse and Needlepoint Now

One of the nicest things about Needlepoint Now magazine is that they are using the Internet to add content and help to their magazine projects. The latest example of this is Eye Candy's line drawn Halloween bird house cracker from Eye Candy. Ada Hayden has posted about her design on her blog, with good close up photos and finishing tips to help you work this charming project. Nice job, Ada!

By the way, Ada says a painted canvas version of this design will be coming out soon.  Have your shop keep an eye on Eye Candy's catalogue to order for you.
