SJ Designs Introduces "Heirloom Lace Sampler"

Boo to You (SJ Designs) UPDATED

Susan Johnson of SJ Designs posted a free Halloween ornament for stitchers to create on her website.  It's called the "Boo to You" ornament and looks to be a fun and fast stash buster to stitch on Halloween.  It's meant to be totally beaded but there is no reason you can't pull colors of threads from your stash and follow the chart in tent stitches.

18th Century Sampler Cyber Class Information

Susan Johnson of SJ Designs just announced that her 18th Century Sampler will be available as a cyber class, probably starting in early September.  Use the side arrow to see the smaller version of the "18th Century Sampler" which is shown on black and suitable for #18 mesh instead of 24 count Congress cloth.

Thread Inventory Spreadsheets

Three different folks have thread inventories online for stitchers to use to keep track of what threads they have in their person stashes.  The first site is a collaboration between Linda K. Reinmiller and Susan Johnson.  Linda has a series of thread brand inventory spreadsheets in Excel plus links to Susan's Google Documents spreadsheets on her teaching website.  Here is where you can find it. Note that Linda is constantly working on updating and adding information.  When new lists or updated lists are available, she posts a notice on the ANG email list.

The last set of inventory sheets are courtesy of Needle Artworks which has maintained this since the late Jennifer Ashley Taylor set up the site until now under Ruth Schmuff's new ownership.  The pages are meant to be printed out and kept in a notebook.
