K's Creations' Stowaway Floor Frame

This Flosstube video of a K's Creations Stowaway Floor Frame is fascinating.  The floss tray accessory costs extra I think.*

The nice part about this frame is that it folds up for storage.  The standard size will hold stretcher bars that are 26 inches wide but larger versions can be made.  Ask your favorite shop to inquire if this is something you would like.

I understand Creative Stitches and Gifts has them in stock if you are in the market.

*By the way, the lamp appears to be a Craftlite "Dublin" light-magnifier combo.

Cover A Door Stop Brick with Needlepoint

Needlepoint.com shows how to cover a brick with needlepoint to make a doorstop.
https://www.needlepaint.com/blog/2019/02/20/brick-works-how-to-finish-a-needlepoint-brick-doorstop/

Those of us old enough to remember life before everyone had air conditioners will remember screen doors and the necessity to prop open the regular door so that the welcome breeze didn't slam the regular door.  Of course nowadays covered bricks make fabulous book ends.

Ribbed Leaves with Fly Stitch

Anna Scott has developed a highly textured ribbed leaf done with fly stitch and has instructions on her blog.  You can see the influence of crewel in this piece which is done with one strand of silk perle on linen.  If you use a sharp needle instead of a tapestry needle, this can easily be done on needlepoint canvas.  It would really add texture to a floral piece.
