The Roof Is On
The Tardis has a roof now, plus a place for its light. I used tent stitches in my perle cotton to sketch out the light and long vertical satin stitches for the stepped roof line.
See the new line of the roof started on the left? I'm going to pull that out as I think I need to do a horizontal stitch there.

The Tardis is looking great. The magic is really happening.
Wow! You will have this done in nothing flat! I love Peep!
There is more work than it seems, but I picked up blue chiffon with silver spots to line the door rear today and have done tent stitches around the roof and base to make finishing easier. Next, I am going to bead the light on the roof while I think about finishing and the area just under the roof overhang. Wish me luck!
P.S. I love Peep, too. He makes a lovely Canvas of the Day.
Here's the link to this Waterweave canvas for those late to the party who missed today's canvas of the day.

Thanks, Robin. I am glad you think the ornament looks like the Tardis. The new Doctor Who series starts April 17, so I need to stitch faster!
I'm going to begin watching the Doctor Who series on April 17. If I have any questions, I'll let you know. I am about 15 years behind jumping on the Harry Potter bandwagon... Katt Z. Witch/Hermione Granger was my motivator. Now I'm hooked.
Better late than never, right? LOL
These series are classics and they will charm people for years to come, so who cares if you are a bit late to the party? We all know the second half of the party is when all the fun happens!
