More on the Baltimore Trade Show UPDATED

Sometimes I think these trade shows are just a way to bring folks together at mealtimes in good restaurants!  By the way, the Hooty Owl canvases the lucky students took home will have a stitch guide published in the next issue of Needlepoint Now.  Boy, are they going to have double fun!

Baltimore--it's not just about painted canvases any more.  (See? I can count heads.  At least a quarter of you want to read about Sara Leigh's adventures.)

UPDATE:  Laura Perin has announced a new design.  You can read all about its inspiration here and see the three colorways available.  If you want to visit her updated website, the link to LAURA PERIN DESIGNS is in the Favorite Blogs and Links list in the right hand column of her blog.

Want to know what do I look like? I'm the one in the yellow jacket next to Robin :) (Ruth the photographer).
Love the pumpkin, amazing job Jane, as usual.

Woo-HOO, PALMA! [Jane jumps up and down in excitement.] Nice jacket! Lovely to finally see you in person.

Glad you like Smilin' Jack. He's a ladies' man, that is for sure! Leigh says he's probably all beads inside. LOL

A heart of beads - I can picture that.
Also, your work with the memory thread is amazing

Thanks, Palma. Memory thread is easy to work with except the tips unravel. I use FreyCheck for that.
