Thread Inventory Spreadsheets

Three different folks have thread inventories online for stitchers to use to keep track of what threads they have in their person stashes.  The first site is a collaboration between Linda K. Reinmiller and Susan Johnson.  Linda has a series of thread brand inventory spreadsheets in Excel plus links to Susan's Google Documents spreadsheets on her teaching website.  Here is where you can find it. Note that Linda is constantly working on updating and adding information.  When new lists or updated lists are available, she posts a notice on the ANG email list.

The last set of inventory sheets are courtesy of Needle Artworks which has maintained this since the late Jennifer Ashley Taylor set up the site until now under Ruth Schmuff's new ownership.  The pages are meant to be printed out and kept in a notebook.

Many thanks to these wonderful people who help us keep up with the threads we have put away for the next great project!

Thanks so much for the links. Fabulous. I've downloaded them all. Its only in the last year that I've started acquiring lots of different types of thread. I'd love to organise my record keeping. Thanks

DDMelissa, all credit goes to Linda and Susan, and to the late Jennifer A. Taylor and to those who maintain her website.

Needle Artworks-no. Jennifer Ashley Taylor died some years ago and I think her series died with her. She hadn't updated it in a while before she died. As for the database that Linda Reinmuller's, I don't think she's updated it in a while but you can ask her, Go to the contact info on her website LindaReinmuller.com and ask.
