Lately I've found several needlework stories about how stitchers express themselves in their needlepoint. The designers of painted canvases also are talking to us through their work. Once of the best examples I know can be found on the Wooly Dreams website.

Pull up a chair and listen to Lula Chang talk about her work, her art, how she got started as an illustrator and painted canvas designer, and needlepoint in general. I do wish her canvases, which are like little jewels, were more widely available.
