Needlepoint for College

Ridgewood has posted an unusually variety collection of college-themed ornaments and mini socks on their blog today. I thought you'd like to see the variety available. Some of the mini stockings are from Kathy Schenkel but I don't know who did the round ornaments. Regardless, these are a pretty and quick stitch for the college girl or guy in your life.

I did a little searching and found college belts from Keep Your Pants On/CBK...

....as you would guess from the name, Keep Your Pants On has a lot of college belts!

School Needlepoint does wonderful round ornaments of iconic college buildings plus lots of logo rounds and will even customize a design with your special student's initials.

There are many other great places to find school designs but I'm running out of time this morning. Have fun looking!

Oh Jane, I did laugh, but maybe others won't! You did mean "the girl or guy", didn't you? Because girls can be gay too ...

Lovely designs, by the way. We don't do that kind of thing in South Africa for some reason, but I rather wish we did. My daughter's uni has purple as its colour, and it looks very good with her bright red hair - I'd love to make her something. Perhaps I can feel a project coming on?

All the best

And I hope a project is gestating inside your creative mind. Stitch on.
