Off to See the Wizards (Suzanne Howren, Tony Minieri, and Meredith Willet) UPDATED

Vicky is off to take a class at In Stitches in Atlanta with Suzanne Howren, Tony Minieri, and Meredish Willet.  Here's a bit about the shop.

Vicky took this Zecca sayings piece to get the Wizard treatment.

Everyone in class got a special stitched monogram magnet.  What a nice touch!

Here is the class in action, along with some photos of the shop interior.

Here are a lot of views inside the shop.  I want to move right in!

It looks like a great deal of fun!  Wish we'd all been there.

UPDATES:  More about the canvases the wizards worked on for their students is here.

Was there and it was everything Vicki said and more! Learning from 3 of the greatest minds in needlepoint was over the top! Everything about the class from location to facilities to food to store staff to all the extras that make things special was extraordinary! If you get a chance to learn from the Embellishment Squad, DO! If you get a chance to go to In Stitches, Do!

I'm glad you were able to go, Anne. It sounds like great fun, great teachers and a great shop. Maybe one day I'll get back to Atlanta....

No you don't. I buy threads and more threads and am so overloaded by seeing actual canvases and stitchers I can't say a word. Am boring in person, in other words.
