Smart Cookie Award for October

Robin won the Smart Cookie Award for October 2024 with her Container Store find--

They are called Small Interlocking Drawer Organizers, made of plastic that you can break apart to make cross pieces or to fit inside your organizer box to keep your threads in order.  Note that they come in two widths, both with the same length.

Kreinik Storage Idea from the Nashville Needlepointer

The Nashville Needlepointer has a great idea for storing Kreinik spools--use Candy Cubes from Sugarfina.

Eat the candy first, guys.  LOL

P.S. Kreinik does sell storage boxes that are much, much larger.

This Kreinik storage tin appears to have been discontinued but you can still find them.

You can also buy foam liners for the Container Store's Bisley Drawer cabinets that are sized to hold Kreinik spools.

Who knew there were so many options?!

Recommended Storage for Rainbow Gallery Thread Cards

Michelle on NP Nation recommends using these business card holders from the Container Store to hold your Rainbow Galley thread cards.

Each box appears to hold roughly 45 cards on their sides, so the colors are easily visible through the plastic lid.  They also have holes in the sides for good ventilation.

Poppin Cube

Donna has a new wonderful item to take on retreats--a Poppin Cube from The Container Store.
http://majtravaux.blogspot.com/2016/03/cube-it.html

Isn't that clever?!  She's right that it is maybe too big for classes but anyone who travels a lot might want something like this.  Heck, us stay-at-homes might need one, too!

Thanks, Donna.
