Woodlawn Exhibit Report

Reports of the 2022 Woodlawn Needlework exhibit are starting to come in.  Here's what Brenda had to say about the pieces she won ribbons for.

One of the NJNA members won Best in Show!

Stitch Middleburg posted photos of customers' entries.

Donna had a fun visit.

Melita especially enjoyed the Winchester, Virginia chapter of EGA's big exhibit to celebrate their tenth anniversary but she shows all sorts of nice needlework on her blog.

The photos on the Woodlawn Facebook page she mentions are here--Jeff Kulick's piece is an original design on needlepoint canvas.  Go Jeff!

NJNA reports on their Woodlawn experience.

In Stitches is the local counted thread/knitting/needlepoint shop half a mile from the Woodlawn entrance.

Asymmetrical Copper in Pinks

Colour Complements shows off one of Jeff Kulick's little designs in some of their pink overdyed threads.

"Asymmetrical Copper" was published in ANG's magazine, NeedlePointers, in the November/December 2021 issue.  If you are a fan of Jeff's work and are a member of ANG, it's a great way to use up stash threads and create a fun little color study.

A New Jeff Kulick Design for ANG

Sara Leigh has been busy doing a model for the American Needlepoint Guild.  Now that the design has been published in their latest Needle Pointers magazine, you can see how SL spent her summer vacation.

It's Jeff Kulick's "Asymmetrical Copper" and it is absolutely gorgeous.  Jeff's very good with color and pattern, so if you are lucky enough to have access to the ANG digital magazine, you'll have great fun with this chart.

Jan's Metalforms Journey

Jan at the Stitchlady's Adventures blog has been working the Jeff Kulick project from Needle Pointers magazine called "Metalforms" with a group from her local ANG chapter.  Jan is using her own colors, which makes this project especially interesting.
