Bubbles, Trouble and New Things

I just happened to take another look at Jelly Bean Stock's website and discovered a before and after series of photos on the home page of a witch and cauldron canvas going from plain unstitched to finished ornament topped with a wonderful lime green bow.  It shows how inspired stitching and finishing can really add to a plain painted canvas.

From the home page you can click on What's New to see the latest fun.  I really like the vases full of flowers but there are all sorts of things to appeal to a variety of tastes.

TNNA News: On the Website

Now that the biggest trade show of the year is over and designers are home, unpacked and have the first rush of orders out the door, they are updating their websites.  Jelly Bean Stock has added a lot of lovely floral designs as well as some really funny pieces.  They usually do movie references, too.  This time they mention "When Harry Met Sally."

HP Designs has also updated their websites.  The new barn animal canvases are totally unique but of course they have new wonderful Asian-themed designs and fabulous wild animals.

TNNA Report: Not All About the Cats

My suspicion has been that cat canvases were going to be very prominent at the TNNA winter 2012 show. Ruth Schmuff says I am wrong.  Many of her new canvases have another subject entirely....

My spies have alerted me to a new NP company that was at the trade show--Jelly Bean Stock.  Here is their website.  You'll love the old fashioned movie poster-like Halloween designs, the devil masks among the Venetian Masks (see above photo), and the peacocks and the Let It Snow sign in chilly blues and icy whites.  They have some other nice things, too, but those are the ones that caught my eye.  What's your favorite? Is it like the flavors of jelly beans, you have too many favorites to decide on just one?
