UPDATE:  Just realized I forgot to add a link to Libby's website so folks who are new to her designs can have fun browsing.  Some of Libby's designs are painted, some are line drawings with instructions on how to fill in each section with stitches.  A few designs are available either way.  All are fun and fabulous!

Bubbles, Trouble and New Things

I just happened to take another look at Jelly Bean Stock's website and discovered a before and after series of photos on the home page of a witch and cauldron canvas going from plain unstitched to finished ornament topped with a wonderful lime green bow.  It shows how inspired stitching and finishing can really add to a plain painted canvas.

From the home page you can click on What's New to see the latest fun.  I really like the vases full of flowers but there are all sorts of things to appeal to a variety of tastes.

It's Just Libby

Pocket Full of Stitches is showcasing Libby Sturdy on their blog. It's a great way to flip through a bunch of Libby's designs quickly and see the wide range of her work, done mostly on line drawn canvases with a stitch guide, so you can raid your stash for threads and have a great stitching time without having to buy many threads. They are durn cute, to boot!

Libby Sturdy's Just Libby website is a fun place to explore if the above hasn't sated you.  Libby teaches, also creates hand painted designs, and has had several new pieces in Needlepoint Now lately.  I am envious of her talent but so glad she has so many great Santas, teapots cottages, and other wonderful whimsical designs for us to play with.

Holly Berry Snowman from Just Libby

Yesterday's canvas of the day was a particularly fun one--a Just Libby snowman!  Libby Sturdy does line drawn canvases that come with a stitch guide so that you fill in the areas of the outline with specified threads and stitches to create something wonderful. Libby's updated her website recently and reorganized things so you can find the various subjects she stitches easily.

Gay Ann Rogers is always changing her website to reflect the seasons and the designs she is promoting.  This month she plans to sell some of her old heart charts and is posting new photos of her hearts to her website daily.  She is asking folks to let her know which ones they'd like to see in the sale.  This allows her to build excitement for the sale yet not have to print out instructions for hearts that folks don't want to buy instructions for.  To see the show, go to the GAR website and then click on Hearts Gallery.  Each day new designs will be added.
