I'm particularly found of the Gingerbread Dreams Mini Sock on 13 count (I've seen it stitched with both the pink background and a deep blue) but there is plenty to love and enjoy here like the birdhouse and cardinal or the napkin ring canvases with Beth Gantz napkin ring frames.  Gayla Elliott fans will swoon over her Autumn canvas!

Then there are the Nordic mini socks and sweater designs....

The Self Finishing Recipe Box

Needlepoint Junction has self-finishing recipe boxes available.  Three colors are currently available and the little insert is 3x5 inches so you could do a monogram easily in the space.   This appears to be a shop exclusive.

Julie Pischke Designs is Reborn UPDATE

One of the fun things about visiting family in the Florida Keys was a stop at Julie Pischke's shop Island Needlework in Key West.

The shop has closed and Julie is retired but Julie Pischke Designs is being reborn.  The tropical flowers and foliage, the sea creatures, the colors, the fun conch houses--everything's still there, even those fabulous carpet bags.

Self-Finishing Recipe Boxes

Needlepoint Junction carries something I've not seen before--self-finishing recipe boxes!

They appear to come in navy or gray with two different inside fabrics.  The shop also sells little canvases that will fit in the self-finishing lid.

Needlepoint Junction Moves

The local Hilton Head Island online newspaper just announced that Needlepoint Junction has moved to a new location--a larger space next door to the old location.

Too bad the shop is described as a "knitting shop," particularly given that the name of Needlepoint Junction is NEEDLEPOINT Junction.  Even the two photos of the new shop interior don't appear to show any knitting supplies.  Makes you wonder just how dumb reporters are these days.

I am sure the poor shop owner is hiding her head in shame.
