Needlepoint Canvases from Etsy

Friday I spent a little time browsing Etsy for needlepoint canvases and I came up with some fun finds.  Pour yourself a cup of your favorite beverage and look at these!

Paige Mattie Designs has a lovely mermaid called "Mermaid By the Sea."  I also like her seahorse and lobster.

AltStitchery features a hula dancer with brown hair and a teal bikini top.  (If you think blondes have more fun, they have a blonde version, too.)

Continuing the beach theme, Tracey Dau Designs has a darling boy on the beach ready to jump in the water with her "Seashell in Your Pocket" piece.

My Pink Sugar Life's got a lot of fun Halloween small ornaments.  My personal favorite is their Day of the Dead Bat, but they have a lovely Nordic pumpkin if you want something more classic.

If you like roll ups, A Dragon's Tale has a wonderful jazzy skeleton. Her little dog ornaments are classics, though, so don't miss those if you are a dog lover.

Want a classic pillow design on 13 count?  Sally Corey's "Leaf Quadrant" is perfect for you.  There is a companion piece, too, if you want two coordinating pillows for your den or bedroom.

However, I think her "Cosmic Mandala" wall hanging is amazing!  It also works as a small rug and is on 10 count.

Like birds?  Linda Rhea Designs has some charming bird ornaments. Her "Fairy Wren" is my personal favorite.

Don't want the bother of stitching something?  I have a fabulous and funny pillow for you from Pout Design.

Hope you had fun browsing!

BREAKING NEWS: Abigail Cecile Gifts A Free Notre Dame Design UPDATED

Since the roof and spire of Notre Dame Cathederal burned this week, folks have been looking for canvases to commemorate the cathedral as it was.  Bucherie in Paris has several small pieces and one large canvas.

Sally Corey has one as well.

If you are a fan of counted canvaswork, Threedles has "Cathedral" in the Notre Dame color way.

Now Abigail Cecile has gifted us all a line drawing of the current profile of the cathedral.  Go to her website on your laptop or desktop (link below), put your cursor on the middle of the image, then holding the cursor down, drag the image off her website and to your desktop.  There's a link to her explanation on how to transfer this to needlepoint canvas here as well.

By the way, Tricia Nguyen of Thistle Threads was right there when Notre Dame started burning if you need a good photo of how it was when choosing colors for your version.

Sally Goes Coach

While I was cruising around the Internet, looking for something totally different, I discovered that Sally Corey Designs was asked to turn some of Coach's signature designs into needlepoint cushions to decorate some of the Coach stores.  Aren't they nice?  The second link has slightly larger pillows.  Congratulations, Sally!
