Rosie Has to Go Shopping

Rosie just finished Ro Pace's "Atlantis Rising" but she needs a stone or piece of jewelry to embellish the central mountain. Any suggestions for great places to shop?

By the way, she did this magnificent piece justice by her inspired stitching.

Amy's Newsletter

The newsletter for Amy's Golden Strand is up on the shop website, ready for your viewing pleasures. Read what Amy's been up to and see lots of new eye candy, from magnets to canvases to new thread colors to Valentine scissor fobs to the new Home Study piece, Oh, Henry!  Amy reviews the new books from Julia Snyder and the writing team of Michael Boren and Carole Lake.  There's a bit about the new Wicked guide that Cindy McKowen is writing for the shop, mentions the guides Amy's going to be writing, and shows off lots of Valentine and heart-themed canvases to drool over.  Thanks, Amy.  You wrecked my monthly budget once again!

The Clocks on the Coast UPDATED

Needle Nicely is going to feature stitch your own clock faces in the shop this season. (Needle Nicely is in Florida, where the snowbirds flock in season and need things to stitch.)  The shop's customers love belt canvases and love beach themes, so Mary Agnes has plenty of both types of canvas to make them happy.

Flat Silk Braids for Sale

Tricia of Thistle Threads never stands still. Her next reproduction embroidery product will be flat silk braid in two sizes. (Small and smaller--trust me--the 3mm larger braids are small so the smaller braids will be teensy!)  You can read more about it and how it was developed on her blog.

Finishing Friday: The Masculine Side

This morning's finishing starts out with a lovely Sudberry box decorated with one of Jan Fitzpatrick's Thread Medley designs, stitched through Cyberpointers.  It was stitched by Liz for her husband, who surely will adore it.

Here is the Thread Medley website, full of fun charts to explore.

Whimsy and Grace showed a lovely pumpkin leather purse at Market.  Here are several great photos, courtesy of the Needlepointing in Your Nest Facebook page.

Sue has stitched another Gaughi doll.  This one is Val for Valentine's Day.
