Breaking News: 3 Kittens is Now Distributing

3 Kittens is diversifying from a shop in Minnesota to a distributor of needlepoint design artists under the 3K Designs name.  They are distributing designs from Katherine Parfet Designs, Sally Brandl Designs, and Cindy Lindgren.

Katherine is known for her Judiaca but she has other pieces in her line as well.

Sally has a darling Nativity set and a lot of intricate monograms.

Cindy does fantastic Arts and Crafts style pieces and there are stitch guides available for some of these beauties.

Getting to Know the Shop Owners

I've been on the lookout for shop owner bios lately, since I love knowing more about the business owners who keep us in goodies, and I have three for you this morning.  I happened to stumble across this profile of Karen Milano, the owner behind Nimble Needle in New Jersey.  It makes me feel that we share something since we both taught ourselves crewel before we found needlepoint.

Then there is this look back at Needle Nicely's first shop location and building, courtesy of Mary Agnes Cussen whose shop is now in Vero Beach, Florida.  Blowing Rock, NC is not far where where I grew up across the state line in Tennessee.  I know those big old houses well!

And here we discover how 3 Kittens was reborn!

Does your shop owner have a great bio on their website?  Tell us about it in the Comments below or email me at chilly hollowat hot maildot com if the Comment section hates you.
