Barbara Bergsten has some wonderful sorority canvases.

Seeing Barbara's charming designs prompted me to make a list of all the designers who create Greek college group designs. Here they are, in alphabetical order. Please let me know where you get your favorite designs if they are not already on the list.
Betsy B. - I believe that Betsy B. had a lot of sorority-themed canvases but their website has disappeared and I can't find any of their designs pictured in the big shops. Your best bet will be to check with your favorite shops to see if any of this designer's work is in their inventory. You can also see if this store has anything in stock still. Some folks will want to check out the Mackenzie Childs canvases, too.

UPDATE: Betsy B. just posted (Sept. 2013) that they didn't know their website was down, but folks can visit Painted Pony (Betsy B.'s distributor) to see their designs.
Kangaroo Paws - This new designer doesn't seem to have a website but does sell on eBay a little. Your shop will probably have to order for you if the sorority or fraternity you want isn't there.

Painted Pony Designs - They offer small sorority angels in their signature angel series, little socks, and heart shapes too. The tiny angels have charms that relate to the sorority's mascot, which is a nice touch.

Smothers and Branson - The company specializes in finished needlepoint pieces, especially belts.

Some shops have a large stock of sorority canvases. Serendipity Needleworks also has a photo album of these type of designs on their Facebook page.

SOS Mackenzie Childs Ornament Canvas UPDATE
Labels:
Betsy B.,
Mackenzie Childs,
ornaments
Katherine collects the Mackenzie Childs ornament canvases that Betsy B. distributes. Of course she didn't have them all by the time the company was sold, and the new buyers pulled the Mackenzie Childs license from poor Betsy B. The last ornament missing from Katherine's collection is pictured here. If you have it laying around, please post a commit on Katherine's blog to tell her how to reach you. We've all been in a similar situation, so help a fellow stitcher out if you can.
http://bootsandbeads.blogspot.com/2011/12/boo-hiss.html
Thanks.
UPDATE: Success!

No Beads & Basketweave Today
I'm sure by now you are very tired of photos of beads and basketweave on Luna's gown. It takes a lot of work to look good! But getting there makes for boring blog entries. Let's go look at some other fabulous things, shall we?
French Knot has their latest newsletter out and in it they mention all the fabulous Halloween pieces on their website that come with stitch guides. I've added a brief article about this on the CH Stitch Guides blog. With Halloween in our rear window, now's the time to start on next year's fun. Luna's going to need friends, after all! (Do vampires have friends?)

LizArt has two new charts available. You can see them (and the link to the purchase site) here.

Personally, I am holding out for Liz Morrow's newest piece, Vegas Nights. The chart for it isn't ready yet as she just finished stitching it, but I think it is worth waiting for! Hurry Liz.
http://lizartblog.blogspot.com/2010/10/vegas-nights-finished.html
Lots of folks are interested in finding a sorority- or fraternity-themed painted canvas. Betsy B's got you covered. Pocket Full of Stitches shows off some of the avaialble pieces on their website. There are some new charts in stock there, too. See? I don't totally ignore the counted canvaswork lovers!

Finally, I have something beautiful and inspirational for you to see--the NeedleArtNut's Lacquered Leaves piece (designer, Betty Chen Louis) which is magnificent. If you want to watch this unfold, click on "Lacquered Leaves" in the right hand column and work from the bottom up. It's worth following. Betty Chen Louis is a fabulously creative designer. It's not often I see things I've never seen before on the Internet but this is one of those times. Great work, Pat!

NeedleArtNut also runs the Stitching Destashing Blog. She happens to have some great books for sale at very good prices, including a copy of Pageant of Pattern for $6 plus shipping. Move fast, though. She had two copies for sale last night....
