End of the Year for NJNA

By the time this publishes it'll be 2026, but the New Jersey Needle Artists Chapter of ANG newsletters are timeless!

As usual there is lots of ANG news, plus they let us know about a new, light weight needlework stand called Miraneks.  It looks like it was meant for cross stitch and won't hold a big project or maybe even Evertites, but it looks very good for travel.

By the way, if you are interested in highlighter tape, shop around.  It's available a lot of places but the prices vary wildly.

The Modern Needlework Stand: A Review

Mary Corbet has written a review of The Modern Needlework Stand, which is a table stand for your needlework, made by a Ukrainian company called Velke Potok, that's perfect for travel.   Mary's reviews are thorough.  She covers all the pros and cons of any item she reviews.

This stand isn't cheap at $360, so Mary wants to know if readers are interested in her stocking these and if so, what colors folks would like.  So check it out and let Mary know if you are interested.  If you are, what color grabs you?  Her email is mary (at) needlenthread (dot) com.

Thanks!

A New Table Clamp from System Four

Needle Work System Four has redesigned their table clamp so that it will open wider and hold projects more firmly.

Note that you have to buy the correct clamp that holds your needlework to use with the section that clamps to the table.  Need more information?  Look at their website.

K's Creations Has a Swivel Ball Table Clamp UPDATED

K's Creations has come up with a table clamp that works with the ball swivel on their floor stand. If you have one of their metal floor stands, you can simply remove the ball swivel and purchase the clamp and assemble them to use.  If this doesn't make sense to you, check out the video posted by BeStitched here.  This is a shop exclusive, by the way, so BeStitched is the only place you can buy these.

UPDATE: Brenda has purchased one of these and shows off the first way she set it up to use.

All About the K's Adjustable Z Frame UPDATED

If you have been thinking about buying a small stand for a table or your lap so you can use both hands to stitch a canvas that is on stretcher bars, you will want to view Lisa Kessler's video on assembling and then using K's Creation's Adjustable Z Frame.

If you don't have a favorite shop to order from, Lisa's store BeStitched has them in stock.

UPDATE:  Cindy wrote me this about her K's lap frames—
"I have both the regular & Baby Z frames. Excellent product, as it folds almost completely flat with stretcher bars attached, and easy access to the back for finishing off. Works right- or left-handed. I've used up to 11" square Q snaps and stretchers on the Baby without tipping."

Many thanks, Cindy!  That's helpful for those who are considering buying one of the lap frames from K's.
