Update to the CH Stitch Guides Blog (and Giveaway)

Sept/Oct. 2011 Needlepoint Now
I've updated the Chilly Hollow Stitch Guides blog this morning with the latest news--a secret I've kept for over eight months. How is it possible I kept my mouth shut that long?

Read all about it here.

In honor of my secret, I'm giving away two copies of the September/October 2011 Needlepoint Now which should go out in the mail shortly to shops and subscribers.  There are two rules:  post a comment here to be in the drawing for one of the two copies, and you can't be a subscriber already.  Let's let folks who haven't signed up for this magazine yet have a shot.

I'll close the contest Sunday night and pick two random winners to announce next Monday morning, September 12.

Kreinik Visits Sign of the Arrow

I've always wondered about Sign of the Arrow in St. Louis.  I've heard nice things about them but their website isn't very informative.  Fortunately, Kreinik staff has visited and interviewed the shop on the Kreinik blog.

Source for Sequins

Some of us are lucky enough to have a shop nearby that stocks the sequins that are so popular these days, but many of us don't have that luxury.  You can always mail order, but if you are like me, you hate ordering sight-unseen.  Fortunately, Beth's Needlepoint Nook has come to the rescue with photos of the Sundance and The Collection sequins they stock.  The site will give you a general idea of the colors and prices available, and if you don't have a shop of your own, Beth's does mail order.
