I have started to see announcements of ANG Seminar Exhibit winners (often with photographs taken at the banquet where the main ribbon winners are unveiled since photos are not allowed in the exhibit) on Facebook and on blogs. Let's start with Melita's blog where she posted about some of the winners and also put up the list announcing who won what. Congratulations on your ribbon, Melita! And thanks!

The Chicago Kit
Melita turned lucky when shopping during the ANG Seminar in Chicago. She picked up the last Kirk and Bradley Chicago skyline ornament kit when shopping at North Shore Needleworks.
http://melitastitches4fun.wordpress.com/2014/08/24/chicago-skyline-ornament/
Bet if you asked nicely (and are willing to wait) North Shore would kit one up for you, too.

By the way, I've updated the article on the NJNA trip to Seminar.

Russian Santas: The Bearing Gifts Santa and More
![]() |
| Carolyn Taggart's Bearing Gifts Santa |
Hurrah! Carolyn Taggart has finished another of Leigh's Russian Santa series! Above is the Bearing Gifts Santa. For those new to Blog, Carolyn has stitched six of the eight Russian Santas Leigh Design released last December. Carolyn has done guides for them all, too.
http://www.leighdesigns.com/Grp833x.html
I particularly love the background on this one with the mountains under a sparkling night sky, but the beard, sack, warm hat and fur trimmed robe are terrific here. Carolyn is a terrific stitcher, isn't she? If you want to see the others Carolyn has finished, click on the Russian Santa Stitch-a-Long tab above. I list all the guides available I know about at the bottom of the list of articles I wrote about my Santa which I blog-stitched here.
For more information or to order one of Carolyn's stitch guides, contact her via her Facebook page. Don't do Facebook? No problem! Leave a comment below with your email address or send it to me at chilly hollow at hotmaildotcom and I will forward your contact information on to Carolyn who will then email you.

| Susan's Northern Light Santa |
By the way, there are other finished Russian Santas for you to admire. Susan Flippin McPherson just got two back from West Coast Finishing. Here is Northern Light Santa.
